Accountant/Office Assistant (West LA)

Apparel company seeks part-time Accountant/Office Assistant who is professional, experienced and can multi-task.
Necessary qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks and excel
Factor accounting experience, including factor reconciliations
Experience with payroll systems (e.g. ADP) desired
Job duties will include handling all financial aspects of the company including, but not limited to, maintenance and balancing of all checking accounts, reconciliation of factor statement, booking monthly journal entries using accrual based accounting, accounts payable/receivables, generating reports through QuickBooks. Other duties include general office tasks (e.g. ordering supplies, liaising with outside office support services, etc.).
