Accounting Manager

Established company based in Los Angeles is currently looking for an accounting manager. This individual will oversee the day to day operations on the accounting side of the business. Essential duties:

* Full cycle accounting, including AR, AP, PR Bank Reconciliation
* Prepare monthly analysis and accruals for proper month end close
* Research & reconcile accounts on a monthly basis
* Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
* Daily AR and AP management
* Reconcile and record flexible spending account disbursements
* Assist with year-end review
* Assist with other special projects as assigned by upper management
* Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results under time constraints
* Ability to supervise, train and mentor accounting staff
* Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
* Analyze actual vs budget operating performance.
* Coordinate and communicate information provided to upper management.
* Prepare monthly analysis of accounts receivable balances and customer payment trends.
* Assist in systems implementation.

Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting. Previous experience in SAP Business One and Crystal Reports preferred.
* Supervisory experience required.

Requirements:
* B.S. Degree in Accounting, 5+ years of related work as an accountant.
* Must have excellent reconciliation and analytical skills.
* Responsive oral and written communication skills.
* Must be self-motivated, organized, and a great project manager
