MACHINISTS
Primary responsibilities are to perform mill / lathe set-up or other assigned tasks on machinery as required. An “A level machinist” must be capable of performing independently once properly trained in the business processes. These team members lead the daily production effort by choreographing the production requirements with operator skills. “A level machinists” are the team members who work on the most difficult tasks and resolve the demanding issues. They are viewed as workforce leaders and mentors to their subordinate level machinists.Requirements
•Possess a comprehensive background in fundamental machining skills based on planned assignment (CNC mill/ lathe, manual mill/lathe or other assigned production area). Ability to program controllers and modify programs if required by assignment.
•Possess a strong background in technical blueprints and required tooling for assigned position.
•Ability to load CNC programs for assigned work orders (if required). Possess the technical knowledge to troubleshoot CNC program errors and recommend changes to the manufacturing engineering section. Possess the technical knowledge to adjust machine offsets and tooling to meet blueprint specifications (tool cutting geometry and insert selection based on that required geometry).MECHANICS
The Mechanic supports the shop operations for disassembly, identification of parts and components, receiving of proper components by verifying for the configuration required, assembly of gears, components & guide shop assistants. The Mechanic will maintain a clean environment to assure that products are assembled properly, tested as required, and be ready for final inspection in accordance with customer and in-house requirements.Requirements:
•High School Diploma or GED
•Experience: 5-8 years working experience in assembly environment. A&P technical school license is a competitive advantage.
•Knowledge of FAA guidelines, CMMs, OHMs, T.O.s, Overhaul Processes & Materials.
