Testing facility in the San Fernando Valley has immediate openings for two chemist positions at our lab. The first positon is for an analytical chemist working in our nutritional department, while the other will be working with cosmetics and active ingredient testing. We are looking for individuals who are able to multi-task in a team environment. Note: It is imperative that our potential candidates have prior experience working in instrumental analysis, specifically HPLC and GC analysis. Those who do not have prior working experience will not be considered.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop methods for analytical HPLC, GC-FID, GC-MS, LC, Spectrophotometer and other such equipments for Chemical Analysis.
2. Analyzes finished products, raw materials, bulk samples utilizing appropriate methods.

Essential Knowledge:
1. Must have a BS in chemistry or equivalent.
2. Have knowledge of the current Pharmacopeia of Europe, America and Japan.
3. Must be familiar with Agilent HPLC, Chemstation, Titration, pH, conductivity and other chemical techniques needed to assay Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic grade products.
