Apliiq is seeking a highly-motivated, fresh, creative, smart, detail-oriented addition to our small but growing team. We’re looking for a hard worker who desires challenging yet rewarding start-up experience and who will become a long term contributor to our family and the success of Apliiq.

About Apliiq
Apliiq is a downtown LA based new media fashion start-up company that collects rare, deadstock and recognizable textiles and applies them to everyday garments. The Apliiq website offers limited edition and custom appliqué products in which visitors can choose fabrics and garment colors to make a unique composition of color and texture. We offer a great work environment in a converted factory in one of the coolest neighborhoods of downtown LA. Our building is full of young, creative people and we’re proud to be a part of the burgeoning community in the LA arts district.

The position involves, but is not limited to:

Order Management:
- collating orders into spreadsheets
- creating purchase orders for suppliers
- driving to receive and deliver the supplies
- pairing fabrics and garments
- assisting in house production
- checking for quality assurance
- product finishing

Shipping:
- packaging and shipping orders
- printing shipping labels
- sending tracking info to customers
- making every apliiq product look beautifully presented like a gift

Customer Service:
- answering and managing email and telephone customer service inquiries

Additional Responsibilities:
- managing and updating inventory of fabrics, garments and products
- light book keeping (tracking and filing receipts & preparing spreadsheets)
- light website updating

Pre-reqs
*car, license, car insurance
*good attitude, team player, flexible, motivated, dedicated, understanding of start-up environment, highly detail oriented

Pluses
*sewing skills
*experience with photoshop, photography, illustrator, html, dreamweaver
*bilingual (English/Spanish)
