Bankruptcy law firm seeks experienced attorney (Long Beach/Glendale)

An Attorney is responsible for managing his/her caseload, managing and coordinating the office and schedules, meeting with potential clients and completing legal work thoroughly.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential clients daily.
- Meet with current clients for appointments to go over their case before filing and make final corrections to the petition.
- Retain clients throughout bankruptcy process by providing competent and efficient representation.
- Attend hearings, maintain a calendar, draft motions, notices and bankruptcy petitions.
- Travel to satellite offices.Requirements:
- Admission to the California Bar is required..
- A Federal license and ECF certification are preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in bankruptcy law is required.
- A business sensibility including an interest in developing a network of clients.
- A strong work ethic and a desire to meet with and communicate with clients both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Attention to detail.Specifications:
- An Attorney is expected to work a full work day including 8:30-6:30 Monday through Friday and 3 Saturdays per month.
- Knowledge of Windows software.No submission will be given consideration unless it indicates a specific salary requirement and/or a recent salary/compensation history.
