Secretive startup company in fashionable Venice/Santa Monica area is looking for contract-to-fulltime, or fulltime, Business Analyst who wants to be part of the interactive & entertainment industries. We’re creating products which combine traditional books and nontraditional interactive games. No relocation, and proximity to LA is required.

In particular we’re looking for candidates with the following skills:

* 3+ years of business analysis, financial modeling, or business development experience

* Industry emphasis should include one of the following:
· * Social
· * Gaming
· * Publishing
· * Digital Entertainment
· * Technology

* Projects you will work on include: financial modeling, industry research and analysis, sensitivity modeling, and developing sales and marketing presentations

* Spreadsheet and Powerpoint jockeys who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves

* Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite

* Positive attitude, frank but friendly communication skills

* Timeline & deadline driven

* Strong communication and writing skills

* Self-motivated

* Four-year college degree preferred

* MBA a plus

* Writing and work samples a must
