Atari is hiring a Business Development Director to aggressively grow worldwide sales and profitability by acquiring product opportunities/production capacity for Mobile/Social Platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate new monetization technologies and opportunities
• Pitch new product concepts to Executive Management. Provide and establish avenues for new product line and Brand focus.
• Initiate proposals, negotiate contracts and license agreements with content partners, close deals and coordinate new IP into existing company infrastructure.
• Execute a product content strategy that differentiates our client with consumers and channel partners, delivering a unique value proposition, and driving financial performance.
• Provided analysis and scrutiny of conceptual designs sometimes acting like a game designer or concept director. Provided leadership and creative direction focused on the delivery of outstanding work on time and on budget.
• Relationships with developers, acquiring product opportunities and managing relationships with top tier product development studios.
• Responsible for expanding development relationships and maintaining Publisher / Developer team synergy.
• Evaluate and pursue the strategic and financial prospects of current and new market opportunities.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of business development experience with a games Publisher.
• Solid track record of acquiring new IPs through effective contract negotiation with console developers.
• Previous experience building and analyzing economic models to forecast future revenue activity from a particular product, IP or Franchise.
• Extensive rolodex of developer and industry contacts at the C-level.
• Previous experience building a console products portfolio with a publisher that generated increased revenue year over year.
• Bachelors Degree required in Business or related discipline.
• Strong analytical abilities in regards to competitor’s product portfolios, industry and consumer trends.
