El Segundo based MEP Consulting Engineering firm is currently looking for qualified Electrical Engineers with 3-7+ years experience in building power systems and lighting design. Our focus is technically intensive projects ranging from data centers to healthcare, along with a mix of general commercial work. Senior electrical engineers should be capable of running projects with design fees ranging from $5,000 to $100,000+ with minimal support, including client relationship management, project management, schematic design, construction documents, and construction administration. Engineers should be capable of producing their own drawings for smaller projects, and working with electrical designers or CAD staff for assistance on larger projects.

Minimum Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
California PE license, NCEES registration, or ability to apply for CA license via comity.
Strong NEC background and solid understanding of room layouts, grounding, protection, and load calculations
California Title-24 or similar energy code experience
Experience with SKM or similar software for fault analysis, coordination studies, and arc flash hazard analysis
Ability to manage junior engineers, designers, and CAD operators in the execution of your work
Project management experience in working with other trades and architects

AutoCAD – General competency

Preferred Qualifications

• Maintains the condition of hotel interiors such as lobbies and restaurants. Including exterior of building and grounds as necessary.
• Repairs carpet, marble, and tile.
• Repairs and maintains kitchen and laundry/housekeeping equipment.
• Repairs/replaces windows and mirrors.
• Maintains operating equipment in working condition by performing routine equipment checks and repairs.
• Demonstrates familiarity with the hotels life safety systems and takes corrective action on any maintenance or operating problems which affect the
security or operating condition of the hotel.
• Maintains hotel and room security by providing effective key control and participates in matters relating to hotel and guest room security.
• Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures
• Reports any hazards or injuries in the department or hotel and takes immediate action to correct.
• Attend and participate in daily Basic of the Day training. Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters
of significance.
