We are seeking an efficient, service oriented warehouse person to join our Santa Fe Springs, California warehouse. The successful candidate will have general warehouse experience, be motivated to succeed and have a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ General warehouse operations.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Use of a forklift and other tools and equipment.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Cutting carpet and vinyl.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Professional communication with Installers, Sales, and Office staff.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Keeps warehouse clean and maintains safety standards.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Performs other duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective work environment.

Job Qualifications

Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ At least 2 years of prior warehouse experience preferred.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Must have ability to lift 70+ Lbs daily.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Forklift experience.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Basic math skills.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Valid driver license and a recent DMV print out.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals, effectively problem solves and maintains a positive, customer service focused attitude.
Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking skills a plus.

Working Conditions

Ã¢â‚¬Â¢ Physical demands including heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and operation of job-related equipment.

Job Purpose:
Seeking experienced loaders for a large distribution center in Irwindale, CA.

Shifts:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Pay:
$9.00 / hr

Length of Assignment:
Long term (Temp-to-HIre)

Responsibilities:

Will be required to manually load and unload 2-3 trailers a day every day.
Will be using carts to assist in moving of freight from one dock to another.
Product will vary from 5lbs up to 70lbs for a large retail company.
Must be able to walk extended periods of time pulling/pushing a cart loaded with merchandise.
Will be using product manifest and an RF Scanner for material handling.
