The position will work with a team of HR Consultants to provide HR support for a leading provider of third party casino services in Northern and Southern California.</p>
<p>	 </p>
<p>	<strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<p>	 </p>
<p>	• Spearhead&#8217;s recruiting initiatives for assigned client groups  </p>
<p>	• Develops and maintains strong working relationships with assigned customer groups, as well as internal colleagues across the organization.</p>
<p>	• Interprets and applies employee handbook, policies, procedures, practices, and regulations consistently across assigned client groups and assures compliance with applicable federal, state and local labor laws.</p>
<p>	• Ensures managers adhere to the clients best practices for preparing and processing new hire paperwork, employee changes, and other related items.</p>
<p>	• Determines plans of action and successfully resolves employment issues based on established policies, procedures, and best practices.</p>
<p>	• Ensures a hands-on approach with staff and managers to reach a high level of engagement.</p>
<p>	• Develops and conducts HR trainings for assigned customer groups.</p>
<p>	• Conducts investigations and researches employee grievances.</p>
<p>	• Pro-actively conducts frequent on-site HR visits to client sites to assess HR needs, satisfaction, practices, and compliance as appropriate.</p>
<p>	• Manages project related HR Initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.</p>
<p>	 </p>
<p>	<strong>THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:</strong></p>
<p>	 </p>
<p>	• 5+ years experience in Human Resources</p>
<p>	• Bachelor&#8217;s Degree</p>
<p>	• Strong recruitment and employee relations experience required</p>
<p>	• Abitity to work independently and proactively</p>
<p>	• Experience in conducting Leadership Management and other training initiatives a plus</p>
<p>	• Outstanding interpersonal skills</p>
<p>	• Working knowledge of employment laws, such as wage and hour, leaves of absence, workers compensation, benefits, insurance, ADA, and non-discrimination, harassment and retaliation practices</p>
<p>	• Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p>
<p>	• Flexibility to work as a team and with little supervision</p>
<p>	• Must be able to support and travel to multiple club locations</p>

<p>Los Angeles based Internet Brands, Inc., a fast-paced, growing internet media company near LAX, is currently seeking a HR Generalist to join their HR team.   Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Generalist assists with the development of Human Resources programs, practices and objectives that foster a high performance team-oriented culture.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about HR and internet media and will not be afraid of taking on new challenges and projects in multiple areas of HR.</p>
<p>AREAS OF FOCUS:<br />
•	Benefits administration (open enrollment, special enrollment and carrier management).<br />
•	Review and enhance the Employee Relations experience to monitor, improve and continue to enhance the culture.<br />
•	Expand and further develop employee orientation and onboarding program to improve the employee experience.<br />
•	Policy development, implementation and administration.<br />
•	Employee communications and team/morale building initiatives.<br />
•	HRIS administration(data integrity, report generation and system troubleshooting).<br />
•	Serve as the first line support for most employee relations issues (performance issues, complaints, attendance problems, etc.).<br />
•	Manage the LOA and WC processes.<br />
•	Act as a back up to the payroll supervisor for payroll processing.<br />
•	Assist with compensation administration.</p>
<p>REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:<br />
•	Knowledge of multiple HR functions, with hands on experience managing  employee relations, benefits, compliance , and &#8216;on boarding.&#8217;<br />
•	Knowledge of  federal and state employment laws.<br />
•	Ability to streamline processes, programs and plan designs.<br />
•	Excellent oral and written communication skills.<br />
•	Excellent judgment and objectivity.<br />
•	Demonstrated ability to partner with the 1st line management team to provide organizational support.<br />
•	Experience with the administration of Human Resources programs.<br />
•	Strong conflict management &amp; negotiation skills.<br />
•	Experience with managing the LOA and WC claims processes.<br />
•	Excellent organizational skills.<br />
•	HRIS experience, preferably with Kronos.<br />
•	Experience with payroll processing and year end reporting.<br />
•	Excellent computer skills:  Excel, Word, Outlook.</p>
<p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:<br />
•	Minimum of a Bachelor&#8217;s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.<br />
•	PHR is a plus.<br />
•	3+ years  of experience in Human Resources (1-2 years in a Manager/Generalist capacity).<br />
•	Experience within an internet media company a definite plus.</p>

<p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p>

Job Summary:</p>
<p>The Recruiter is responsible for all steps associated with the identification, placement and management of contingent employees at our client sites. The ability to develop strong communication channels with internal and external clients is crucial to business success. To achieve this, the incumbent must provide &#8220;World Class Service&#8221; to contract employees and clients by earning their respect, acting with the greatest amount of professionalism and expressing the highest sense of urgency. </p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<p>Identification Process:<br />
• Utilize internal database to identify potential candidates.<br />
• Place job requirements on the Internet to increase available candidate pool.<br />
• Develop creative recruiting resources to attract qualified professionals interested in contract, contract to hire and direct placement employment.<br />
• Identify networking activities such as attending career fairs, professional association meetings, calling on technical schools and outplacement services.<br />
Hiring Process:<br />
• Responsible for screening candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions.<br />
• Conduct skills testing, office interviews and reference checks.<br />
• Present job opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate contract terms.<br />
• Maintain excellent documentation with the company database.<br />
Management Process:<br />
• Prepare resumes for presentation to clients.<br />
• Coach candidates through the client interview process.</p>
<p>Requirements :<br />
• 3 years professional experience in healthcare, sales, recruiting, marketing or customer service environment. <br />
• Surgical Recruiting or have worked in the surgical industry.<br />
• PC literate in Windows environment including, MS Word, and Internet. <br />
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. <br />
• Strong problem solving abilities. <br />
• You will receive a competitive base salary plus commission.</p>

• Manage applicant hiring, assignment process, and follow up.<br />

<p>The ideal candidate will have:</p>
<p>• 2+ years of staffing and/or service sales experience; telemarketing experience a distinct plus.<br />
• Must be competent using software/PC in job functions.<br />
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br />

<p>Job Description: <br />
•	Provides support for most HR issues with assigned employee group including (but not limited to):<br />
•	Process transactions:  enters all transactions into Payroll system such as New Hires, Terminations, Salary Increases, Promotions, Transfers, Report Writing<br />
•	Administers wage and employment verifications <br />
•	Interprets background checks and motor vehicle reports<br />
•	Employee relations: resolves standard issues and works with HR Supervisor to resolve complex issues<br />
•	Benefits: responds to employee inquiries<br />
•	Hiring and termination: assists with hiring and termination process<br />
•	Performance management: advises on appropriate disciplinary measures, as well as encourage managers to reward for positive performance<br />
•	Administers HR policies and procedures<br />
•	Special projects as assigned<br />
 Essential Requirements<br />
•	Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources <br />
•	Strong computer skills:  Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook<br />
•	Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal<br />
•	Experience with HR and Payroll Systems (ADP, Ceridian) a plus<br />
•	High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate&#8217;s or Bachelor&#8217;s Degree preferred</p>
