Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Keep back stock inventory in an orderly arrangement.
• Verify inventory counts.
• Cycle-count floor and back stock as well as work monthly inventory night.
• Help on Sales floor, bag items at check out, carry out large bags for customers, retrieve items from back stock for customer, replenish sales floor with items.
• Keep up store front cleanliness and stock for maximum salability.
• Clean floors and work-surfaces of sales floor, backroom and stockroom.
Unpack goods and materials.
• Check received materials against purchase orders, packing slips
and / or bills of lading to verify nomenclature, identification and quantity.
• Maintain records of goods received.
• Reject incorrect, damaged or excess goods, and report such to the
Store Manager.
• Place price tags and store tags on all received items

Skills, Experience & Physical Ability Requirements:
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated passion for extraordinary customer service.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolong standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, climbing.
• Ability to clean and stock work area.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts.
