Catering Chef (SFV/Los Angeles)

This is a unique opportunity to work in a well-established and busy catering company. Candidates must be passionate about food, innovative and able to help create a great culinary experience for our loyal clients in both the corporate and social environment.
We are looking to add to our team of professional chefs who are available on an on-call basis. Must be experienced in all types of ethnic, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free cuisines. Enjoy creating desserts and baking is a plus.
Candidates must be enthusiastic with high energy, well groomed and courteous. Able to handle all types of food production in both our catering kitchen and on-site events. The chefs will work closely with our catering director to help develop creative seasonal recipes and menu items. Must have knowledge of purchasing, food costing and inventory control. Organization and maintenance of kitchen and all catering equipment is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Our events ranges from casual drop-off corporate catering to high-end social dining, casual BBQ’s to formal dinner parties. Bar and Bat Mitzvahs Celebrations are our specialty. We are looking for candidates who will be a good fit with our team of professionals to work a combination of daytime, evenings, and weekends. Must have chef catering experience.
