Independent testing laboratory located in Los Angeles has an immediate opening for a full time lab supervisor. We are looking for an energetic individual with superb analytical skills that doesn’t like seating on a desk. You will be required to perform analysis and supervise lab technicians at the same time.

RESPONSIBILITIES: supervise and perform analysis of water and foods following EPA, ASTM, USDA, FDA, AOAC, IPC and proprietary methods. Testing includes 50% wet chemistry and 50% instrumental analysis using AA, ICP, GC-FID, HPLC, IC and UV/VIS spectrometry. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for new method development and providing instrument support.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Chemistry or equivalent with 5 years of proven experience in the field. Familiarity with ELEMENT software. M.S. or Ph.D. degree is a plus. Must have authorization to legally work in the US.
