Positions available immediately for CNC Mill and Lathe Set -Up Machinist

MINIMUM FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE

SET-UP MACHINIST

Set-up machines for optimized operation
Edit programs as needed to optimize cycle times
Install tooling required for job and ensures tools are in good working condition
Safely & efficiently sets up machines
Measure dimensions of first article to ensure proper set up
Communicates & train operators to run job & inspect parts
Sets feeds & speeds to balance tool life & maintain a quality surface finish.
Work with Engineering and programming to improve to cycle times, quality of product or/and increase the efficiency of processes.

Knowledge of tooling, metals, speeds/feeds and machining to tight tolerances a must.
Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.

Expected to work and think independently and perform set-ups with minimal supervision

Pay for this job is based upon experience
Bilingual a plus but not required.
Mastercam X programming experience a plus.
