COLLECTIONS MANAGER FOR WORKERS COMPENSATION OFFICE NEEDED in Encino, CA

Looking for seasoned and experienced Work Comp Collections Manager who is ready to manage a team of collectors and help meet goals/quotas. This individual must be highly goal oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, and be able to motivate a team. This person must be able to hit the ground running. MUST be experienced in Worker’s Comp Collections.

QUALIFICATIONS

-3+ years of experience with workers compensation collection.
-An action-oriented individual with aggressive follow up skills is needed.
-Candidate must be highly organized with an eye for detail and who can manage their time effectively.
-Computer skills in MS Office needed.
-Knowledge of labor codes and fee schedule.
-Strong written and verbal Negotiation/Communication skills.
-A vast knowledge of labor codes, fee schedule, preparing stip and issues, etc.
-Knowledge of Practice Expert Software is a plus, but not needed. (Will Train)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

-Communicate effectively resulting in progressive negotiations and settlements.
-Meet monthly quota and quarterly goals of all collectors.
-Communicate with clients, claims adjusters, and attorneys effectively.
-Make timely reporting directly to CEO.
-Must be able to manage collectors with their goals, and successfully track case status; keeping organized records of settlement negotiations.
-Must Handle large volume of litigated claims.
-File liens, DOR(s), and applications with the WCAB

OPPORTUNITIES

There is plenty of room for growth and increased earnings in a very short period of time dependant on the individual’s level of commitment and ability to negotiate settlements.

Opportunities available are commission based only or salary plus commission (with commission given after monthly quota is met)
