Community Manager/Copywriter
We are currently hiring a Community Manager / Copywriter to create content for and manage our social media and blog efforts as well as all other written marketing materials. You will be the primary content creator for everything from a 140-character tweet to writing blog tips on at home hair coloring. Enthusiasm, creativity, attention to detail and exceptional writing skills are a must. The ideal candidate will have a journalism and/or PR experience, knowledge of direct response and a passion for hair and beauty products, and experience with online publishing.

Responsibilities
• Be the voice of eSalon on Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other social media channels
• Identify and engage eSalon advocates
• Write content for the eSalon blog
• Write advertising copy – including but not limited to banners, emails, print material
• Write and edit instructional material for online/offline use

Requirements
• Bachelors degree required
• Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal
• Advertising/PR or newspaper experience a plus, some direct response experience
• Community manager/social media manager experience a plus
• Experience writing in different styles
• Collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills
• Must love to write and enjoy sharing ideas with others
• Independent and creative self-starter, strategic thinker
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work in fast paced environment
• Must be proficient in WordPress

This is a full-time salaried position. Annual compensation will depend on qualification.
