WESTERN BEAUTY INSTITUTE- we are a fully accredited beauty school currently seeking to hire an experienced and licensed COSMETOLOGY Instructor for our PANORAMA CITY Campus.

*Must have a current valid CALIFORNIA Cosmetology license.
*Must have at least 2-3 yrs. work experience in a classroom setting (proof will be required).
*Correct level of education.
*Must be very professional & have well groomed appearance.

*Detail oriented & knowledgeable.
*Great team player and good Leadership abilities.
*Positive attitude/Enthusiasm to motivate students.
*Maintain highest level of quality of service by following organization standards.

*Able to prioritize effectively.
*Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

General Job Description:
A passion for teaching, great knowledge of the beauty school settings helpful but not a requirement.
Responsible for developing program curriculum in a classroom structure setting activities, i.e. educational.
Conduct effective classroom training Day-to-day activities
Maintain accurate student records.
Administer tests.
Submit grades in a timely manner.
Provide after-class help for students as needed.
Maintains and documents adequate information of participant’s school progress. Refers information to supervisors.
Completes regular progress reports and attends staff meetings. Supervises and enforces participants to comply with Program and Stateboard rules & regulations. Implements behavior modification. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following aseptic standards; adhering to legal regulations per State Board. Keeps classroom neat and orderly.
Great ability to help others learn, good sense of humor, energetic, self-starter, highly skilled, very motivated, be people-oriented, be flexible, must possess limitless patience and be a good listener.

Part-Time (Night Shift) available: Monday-Thursday 6:00pm -10:00pm & Sat. 8:30a.m – 5p.m.

Starting Salary: hourly, depending on education and experience.
