EXPECTATIONS:

With the second half of the academic semester rolling around, we are seeking instructors who are knowledgeable, dedicated to what they do, and have a sense of responsibility to put forth their best effort to help students learn the subject matter at hand and to help them improve. Similarly, we expect that our instructors be mature, humble, and responsible adults who understand that once they step into the classroom, it is their job to PREPARE for their classes, TEACH, GRADE assignments, and ASSESS students on a regular basis. They must also understand that each of these duties is an inherent part of teaching and that it is their RESPONSIBILITY to manage their time both in and out of class to fulfill these duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. B.A. Degree with 3.0+ GPA

2. Ability to teach at least one of the following – Elementary & Middle School ENGLISH/MATH, PRE-ALG, ALG I/II, GEOMETRY, MATH ANAL/PRE-CALC, CALCULUS, BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS, SAT MATH/SAT CRITICAL READING or WRITING

3. Able to commit for the duration of the entire semester, beginning in February to Mid-June (Exact Dates to be determined during Hire).

4. Able to work Weekday Afternoons beginning at 3:00PM till 5 or 6:00PM. (Hours and Days vary by Subject). Weekend times also available.

COMPENSATION:

Salary (as well as number of hours given per week) will be dependent on proficiency and experience of applicant. Range is between $10-20/Hr DOE.
