Full –time position with a custom lighting design studio and manufacturer located east of downtown LA, serving world class clientele from the most notable design firms in the industry.  
 
Requirements:  
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Product Design / Lighting Design or minimum 1- 3 years equivalent work experience.  
Extensive knowledge of architectural or product sketching and rendering  
Advanced AutoCAD skills  
Highly organized and detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines  
Understanding of product design and manufacturing processes, parts ordering and sourcing, management of projects, and component orders. 
Must show initiative, eagerness to learn and a willingness to participate in all aspects of daily office tasks  
Photoshop and Illustrator proficiency a plus  
 
Required abilities and responsibilities: 
 
- Filing and updating paperwork in the project file 
- Communicating effectively with clients and with vendors 
 
Other useful skills: 
- 3D CAD / 3D StudioMax 
- Sketching ability 
- Adobe Photoshop  
- Adobe Illustrator 
- Rhino
