Cabada Media, a well-established industry leader with offices located in Santa Monica, has an immediate opening for an in house LAMP Web Developer who can demonstrate good technical proficiency with Cake PHP to produce new products and maintain existing ones. This individual will be responsible for working independently and within a small group as part of the primary development team to accomplish the tasks and projects set forth for them under the direction of the CEO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain and expand code for company web-based applications.
• Troubleshoot errors and deploy timely fixes.
• Support the traffic acquisition team by maintaining and updating our custom user tracking and reporting system.
• Support and train staff on the use of our custom content management system.

Skills & Requirements
• 2-5+ years of programming/web development experience
• Expertise in CakePHP, MySQL, jQuery, Python, PERL, AJAX, Amazon.com Cloud Services, Shell Scripting, git, & HTML
• Knowledge of Web Server configuration, Name Servers, TCP IP protocol
• Use of best practices and standards for all development.
• Great debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills
• Desire to take initiative and be a self-starter
