Rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking a high-level Accounts Payable Director for an immediate interim to hire opportunity.
 

 
The ideal candidate would have a be flexible as the company is going through a transition/growth period and have Accounting & Management experience working within a manufacturing distribution environment.
 

 
This role is responsible for processing all inventory invoices and resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices & PODs.
 
Other responsibilities included checking for errors in coding, weekly aging, discount opportunities, managing wire transfers and reconciling purchase orders.
 

 
REQUIREMENTS:
 

 
-Minimum 8 years of practical/hands on accounting/accounts payable experience
 

 
-Minimum 5 years of management experience
 

 
-Experience with foreign currency exchange reporting
 

 
-Ability to create and run reports utilizing a sophisticated accounting system
 

 
-Ability to present financial data to senior executive management
 

 
-Successful track record of creating, implementing & managing new processes/procedures as it relates to the accounts payable function
 

 
-Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
 

 
-Ability to take initiative and work independently
 

 
-Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
 

 
-Experience using Excel is a MUST
