Busy and high-energy doggie daycare seeks hard working, responsible, team-playing dog enthusiast for a part time dog daycare attendant position. This person should have a flexible schedule and able to work early mornings AND/OR a closing shift. Someone interested in doing the overnight shift is also a plus.

First and foremost, you MUST love and be comfortable working with dogs of ALL breeds and sizes–we do not breed discriminate here! This position involves working directly with our pack of dogs, making sure that they are having fun and staying safe. There is also a great deal of cleaning involved throughout every shift, this means being ready to pick up pee, poop, diarrhea, and anything else that comes up. If you don’t like getting dirty, than this job isn’t for you!!!

This job is extremely rewarding. However, there is a lot of stress involved–this position is far more than “just sitting and playing with dogs all day.” This is a job for someone who loves being challenged everyday and someone who likes to stay busy and keep moving.

1. MUST LOVE DOGS!!! ALL DOGS!
2. Must have a great awareness of dog body language and be comfortable handling ANY breed dog in ANY situation that could arise.
3. Fabulous communication skills–with fellow employees AND dogs! (Speaking “dog” a big plus!)
4. Must be flexible and able to work morning and/or night shifts. AND on-call shifts, if you are “on-call”, we may call you in at anytime.
5. Must be able to work any/all holidays (4th of July, Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, etc etc.)
