Position Summary:

This position is versatile and works on a variety of projects, often simultaneously. The primary responsibility of the position is the creation of elements for promoting the show as well as elements implemented in the show — broadcast and in-house.

Essential Functions:

1. Produces and edits promos, fighter elements, broll, features for cross-channel broadcast / cross platform partners, VOD and digital platforms including mobile.
2. Produces and edits sizzle reels of various needs — sales and educational tools, and for use as in-house reels at the show.
3. Create Spanish language animated graphics for use in advertising, sizzle reels, post-produced and live shows. Again, majority of content is produced for Spanish Language Production.
4. Assist in the development of new programming concepts for Spanish language. Produce, shoot and edit Spanish news segments for cross platform consumption.
5. Edits various reels for use in conventions and sales collateral. C
6. Creates graphic animations for use in shows.
7. Occasionally creates animated billboards of upcoming Pay-Per-View for public display.
8. Creates elements for use in LED boards in arenas at the shows.
9. Creates animated corporate sponsorship replay wipes in the show.
10. Creates animated promotional elements for the show such as magazine covers.

This position works out of the Los Angeles office.

Qualifications:

• Advanced production workflow, editing in Final Cut, writing, producing skills and abilities in order to meet established theme and style as required, etc. Regularly take part in generating ideas, new content development and production approaches. Make the team better.
• Highly developed knowledge of broadcast methods of measuring audio and video signals to ensure quality control of Zuffa endorsed standards on all operations.
• Expert understanding of workflow of other business units, including their impact and/or specific integration with Production Operations. Proficient problem solving and troubleshooting techniques and effective communication to best convey the issues necessary for resolution.
• Expected to train others in operational areas and generate training documentation.
• Ability to interpret and understand complex information in both Spanish and English, and disseminate it to proper personnel.
• Completely bi-lingual, Spanish and English both written and spoken.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
2. 2-4 years of daily experience working with Final Cut Pro and/or AVID non-linear editing systems.
3. Adobe Creative Suite experience, including After Effects.
4. High level of creativity.
5. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
9. Ability to work independently and with a team.
10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Ability to maintain discretion and protect confidential information.
12. Experience in sports environment preferred. Knowledge of UFC and MMA a plus.
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
14. Professional, self starting, “get-it-done” attitude and work ethic.
