IMT Residential is a leading, nationwide multi-family residential investment and property management firm headquartered in Sherman Oaks, California. We’re a rapidly growing company with a fabulous opportunity for the right candidate.

We are seeking, for immediate hire, a qualified Employee Relations Manager with progressive human resources experience, strong emphasis on policies, administration, recruitment & hiring, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a solid HR generalist background.

Principal Tasks

- Human resource administration including experience designing people operational procedures, policies and practices that support servicing multiple state locations
- Assist with the development and enforcement of policies, procedures and practices
- Assist with designing administrative systems and practices that leverage technology, streamline work flow and improve efficiency
- Assist with report preparation and analysis including compensation, employee turnover, etc.
- Recruit and hire new associates, with a heavy emphasis in screening and tracking
- Act as an HR generalist for employee relations matters
- Will be the ultimate check and balance for our performance management system, including maintaining a tracking system
- Handle special projects as needed

Requirements

- Knowledgeable about wage and hour, labor laws and compliance
- Must have excellent organizational skills with ability to focus on details
- HR generalist experience – recruiting, hiring and employee relations a must; training a plus
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times

Qualifications and Experience

- Microsoft Office including PowerPoint
- Prior experience utilizing HRIS
- 3-5 years progressive experience as HR generalist or a related field, with emphasis on administration, compliance and employee relations
- BS degree in Human Resources or a related field
