A local organization is currently seeking a strong Employment Specialist to be part of a dynamic team that assists individuals in preparing for workplace success and finding work.

We are looking to build a very successful sales force and expanding our service locations and this position is critical to our success. This could be an enormous growth opportunity for the right candidate, particularly if you’re interested in growing with our organization. The right candidate will have excellent sales/marketing background and/or experience BUT we are willing to train the right candidate! Must have strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), typing at least 40WPM, ability to interact with individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds, including clients, employers and communicating with the public and conducting a variety of public relations activities and other duties as assigned.

We are looking for candidates who are very passionate about helping and inspiring others to succeed. We prefer someone who is bilingual (Spanish and English) but it is NOT a condition of employment. Must have an excellent, energetic, and positive personality; must be confident in your abilities and have a can do attitude, ability to work independently, experience working as a recruiter for employment agencies is a plus, great customer service experience and coordination skills are helpful.

The main responsibility of the Employment Specialist is as follows:

*Primary duty is to identify employment opportunities and find our clients work.
*To market the company’s products and services to employers
*Build and maintain business relationships with employers
*Provide recruitment services for clients in our various programs
*Maintain job leads in and increase business for our job search engine

This is an outcome based position. The right candidate can increase their income substantially. The position offers a base pay of $9-10.00 per hour plus possible bonuses. This is a part-time position which will eventually become full-time. Candidates must meet performance/placement goals, as a condition of continued employment. Must be able to pass a work history and criminal background check with both FBI and DOJ. All references will be thouroughly checked.
