Industry-respected trade newspaper needs reporter to help provide coverage at event in Long Beach later this week. Seeking reporter with at least five years of daily newspaper experience. Business news and-or transportation writing experience a plus. Job will include covering hour-long sessions that should produce “news” stories, plus possible interviews and light canvassing of meeting attendees on topical industry issues. Editor will be on-site for guidance, questions and sources. Deadline for stories will be the following week. PLEASE, only experienced news reporters respond. Thank you.
