With an emphasis on fast-paced, quick-turn, small to mid-size quantity mail jobs, CMS is in need of a seasoned Director of Business Development/ or current Sales Executive for immediate hire. CMS provides a one of the most competitive compensation and commission plans in direct marketing.
     
    Job Function:
     
    One sales position is now available for a seasoned Sales Executive that is looking to make the move to a fast-growing direct marketing and technology company based out of Sacramento, CA. This candidate will come with the proven ability to generate new business, providing our clients improved return on their marketing dollars. Must be able to meet revenue goals by identifying companies in need of direct marketing services, internet marketing services, developing appropriate contacts and closing new business using your own sales generation tactics. Ideal candidates will be strategic sellers of direct marketing solutions, emphasizing benefits and return on investment to prospects, and will be committed to "the hunt" – prospecting and sales persistence to meet revenue goals. No geographic/vertical sales territory restrictions.

    • Competitive salary guarantee for probationary period + commission, DOE

    Job Requirements:
     
    • A minimum of 2-5 years “outside sales” experience, acquiring new accounts in direct mail or print or related industry is required.
     
    • Strong familiarity of Direct Marketing Best Practice Principles
     
    • Needs little or no training on selling full-service direct mail production services
     
    • Sales ability preferably in these verticals: financial services (mortgage, loan modifications, debt settlement), home improvement, education, non-profit and/or political campaigns.
     
    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred. High School diploma mandatory.
     
    • Ability to work in a “small business” environment with a diverse set of personalities and experience levels
     
    • Self-driven with an entrepreneurial edge, and have experience working on both small and large accounts.
     
    • Candidates must possess a confident personality suitable for handling cold calls and account management.
     
    • Excellent presentation, organization, verbal and written communication are mandatory.
     
    • Produce sales revenue within the first 60 days of employment
     
    • Produce a minimum of $500K in incremental sales revenue each year
     
    • Candidates are expected to be able to converse fluently at all contact level with an organization (from Junior to C-level).
     
    • Meets or exceeds sales quota/goals –verifiable
     
    • Candidates must possess and subscribe to high work and business ethics, and be extremely self motivated.
     
    • PC proficiency required- we may administer a test.
     
    • Ability to travel as needed
