Hello Experienced IT Technician!

We are an IT service company that has been in business for over 16 years in the greater LA basin area. We are looking for an experienced network technician to accommodate our business growth.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
• Standard Server / Small Business Server 2003, 2008, 2011 — installation, configuration
• Exchange Server, SQL Server, IIS, Group Policy, Active Directory
• Imaging software: Backup Exec, Symantec, Acronis, etc. . .
• TS/RDP, VNC, remote support software
• Malware removal
• Researching and fixing novel problems on workstations and servers
• XP, Vista, Win7, OS X — installation, configuration, installing programs and troubleshooting problems, handling drivers
• Microsoft Office, web browsers, etc. . .
• Networking, internet, protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP, FTP, SSL), cabling, routers, firewalls, switches, wireless, VPN, port forwarding, etc. . .
• Printers, scanners, cameras
• Configuring Blackberry, Android, iPhone, Tablets, etc. . .
• PC hardware: memory, hard drives, RAID, etc. . .
• Managed services deployment/use (LPI, Kaseya, LabTech, etc. . .)

CUSTOMER SERVICE / ADMINISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong verbal and written skills
• Good social skills for clients; charisma and confidence
• High integrity; Must be conscientious and have follow-through for all responsibilities
• Humility; Must be willing to double-check yourself rather than protect your ego
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Professional appearance
• Availability to work late when needed

• Location: Glendale, California
• Compensation: Starting rate will be $15 to $17 per hour for the first 90 day trial period.
