We are opening a new pizzeria in Silverlake and are looking for temp to permanent kitchen staff.

Kitchen Manager/Chef:

Must have experience in kitchen management, inventory management, sourcing, menu creation/costing etc.
Responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, and provides professional leadership and direction to kitchen personnel.
Ensures that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet restaurant’s specifications and commitment to quality.
Manages and trains the kitchen staff and support staff as needed on the line.
Actively participates as a member of the team.

Minimum of 3 years experience as a cook and be familiar with, but not limited to, Pizzerias, California cuisine
• General knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and maintenance required.
• Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
• Aware of local, state, and federal health and sanitation laws.
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills by actively supervising and motivating employees.
• Works well under pressure and able to function under limited supervision.
• Behaves professionally and can be flexible in a changing, high-energy, and demanding environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with managers, kitchen staff, and wait staff in a positive manner.
• Must speak fluent English and some Spanish

Line Cooks:

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a MINIMUM of 3 years of work experience.
2+ years experience at a high-end and fast paced restaurant
Must have a passion for food
Must be professional, punctual, team player, positive, and have an outstanding work ethic.

Must have authorization to work in the United States.
