Role and Responsibilities
Direct supervision and overseeing of approximately 10 employees
Ability to effectively estimate and write-up a quote
Capable of traveling and staying in hotels when necessary. Field travel 2-3 days weekly average with overnight trips as necessary. Includes Out-Of-State Travel
Ability to set and stick to an effective budget
Capable of generating reports on visits and positioning additional work beyond maintenance scope. A separate list should also be produced during visit to be given to maintenance techs for job duties
Must be comfortable working directly with customers to assign goals and set deadlines for technicians and other departments
Capable of learning in’s and out’s of maintenance schedule and stepping in to complete maintenance to cover vacations, etc
Assist in training of new employees in paperwork and reporting expectations
Ability to review, assess and report back to customer on issues employees report back
Ability to audit technician’s daily paperwork and filter the errata effectively.
Willing to take and respond to emergencies as needed; may require weekend / night work
Able to effectively interact with vendors and suppliers.. including setting costs, locating parts, ordering, etc
Assist with inventorying and monitoring parts usage; report back unusual findings and concerns
Able to send professional emails to customers to announce findings, inspections schedules, etc
Able to review and assist employees and work with division manager on performance management
Bi-weekly performance reports and meetings with division manager
Ability to build a team
Ability to take a part of the division and effectively run it. Once running, effectively take another part and run it.The following is a basic list of responsibilities and does not limit to the above.
