Fashion / Marketing and Fashion Business Intern needed to assist in women’s luxury lingerie company in day to day tasks. Candidate will work closely with creative director, PR and assist in Marketing, stock, sales, & production duties will facilitate learning all facets of the garment industry. This internship is an opportunity to obtain a full time job. The company is on a very fast track and could be a huge opportunity for the right candidate.

Candidate must have experience with Blogging and Social Media!

You will be directly involved with everything from placing orders for new merchandise, making sure printing and designs are being carried out on schedule, make sure sales and events are promoted and successful, assisting in the design of collections, and much more.
This position is for motivated individuals and/or students interested in a career in Fashion, PR and/or Business / Marketing. After working here you will know everything you need to know and all of the people you need to know to start your own line.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
*trend research and market analysis
*research of trims,notions and development for core collection.
*assistant styling and prepping for celebrity placements
*assisting on photo shoot
*updating contact list for both sales , pr and merchandising of the product
*organizing wardrobe closet
*weekly fashion updates: store openings, collaborations, releases, etc.
*organizing showroom and working with PR team
*ironing/steaming
*market research

REQUIREMENTS:
*Must be a current student or recent graduate in a fashion or design related field with an emphasis on business, communications and / or marketing.
*Intermediate to Advance skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop on a PC platform. Twitter, facebook and blogging experience an asset
*Personal Computer a huge plus
*Individual must be organized, on time, & have the ability to multi task.
*Must have the desire to succeed in the Apparel Industry.
* Strong work ethic, driven, willingness to not just meet but EXCEED expectations
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to come in 3 days/week (10-15 hrs), on time and ready to work. A Car is a must!

We will compensate for all parking costs. Meals and gas will be provided/compensated on a per project basis as well as the opportunity to be hired on full time.
