We can ONLY consider your application if you have:
1: Extensive network & patching field or enterprise data center experience
2: Solid experience troubleshooting and resolving layer 1,2, and 3 issues
3: Must have your own equipment: Drivers, Allen Wrenches, snips, pliers, crescent wrench
4: Must have your own equipment: Ground strap, zip ties, pens, ladder
5: Must have your own equipment: Laptop w/ TFTP, Word, Excel, Visio, Acrobat Reader
6: Ability to perform physical activity: climb ladders, lift 25 lbs.
7: Excellent written and spoken communication skills
8: Knowledge and ability to decommission and backup old switches
9: Knowledge and ability to install, load IOS, perform firmware upgrades, and load configurations on Cisco 3000 series switches
10: Knowledge and ability to label and patch with full documentation

12: EXTENSIVE HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE OF ABOVE SKILLS IS MANDATORY
We are looking for several Field Engineers for a 4 to 6 week project with strong hands-on enterprise skills to decommission and replace network switches in a campus environment. This work will be performed in a very formalized, orderly, documeted manner.
DESIRED (not required) SKILLS::: CCNA or similar is a plus
Duties and Responsibilities== Arrive prepared with requisite tools, on time
== Inventory equipment, validate with equipment list, document serial numbers & asset tags
== Copy and save configurations from existing switch, remove switch & related parts, stack old equipment in an orderly fashion
== Mount new switches & related parts; power up, load IOS and patch as needed, load configurations
== Troubleshoot and isolate layer 1,2 and 3 issues; resolve and or escalate as needed
== Take before and after photographs; complete documentation & status on a daily basis.
