    We are seeking a Field Pipette Calibration Specialist for the Boston, MA area.​

    The essential duties and responsibilities are:
    · Flexibility to perform calibration services either within the designated Service Center or on site (Field) at customer locations. Professionally managing travel, with equipment, sometimes on short notice and/or several overnights is required. At some time, travel may approach 25% due to business need.
    · Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. Must be a highly effective communicator from managing expectations through follow-up in a positive, customer centric, error free and professional manner while either in the field or in the service center.
    · Responsible to drive the calibration service business and achieve specific individual objectives. Promotes the sale of service products and liquid handling promotion programs. May be called upon to execute sales and marketing programs including seminars, pipette days, local or national trade shows. Functions as a technical and service expert to guide both Sales and customers.
    · Executes the determined service product. Follows any established customer protocols, tests instruments to ensure conformance to factory specifications. Determines and completes necessary cleaning, replacement, adjustment or repair. Records calibration test measurements in and administers local performance test certificates as required.
    · Administrative Excellence. Responsible to ensure service is completed accurately and all system needs are addressed in a timely manner with the proper detail to ensure invoicing and quality management system requirements.
    · Enforces, cooperates with and complies with all of the company’s policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
    · Responsible for proper maintenance of company equipment and exercises all safety precautions as required including laboratory environments.

    The ideal candidate will possess:
    · Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or equivalent military training, and two to three years’ related experience and/or training. Four year college preferred.

    · Valid driver’s license required. Must maintain a good driving record. May be occasionally called upon to utilize motorized company vehicle.
