Busy film production company located in Culver City looks for controller/production accountant.

We’re looking for someone with 5+ years live production experience in either features, episodic or commercials. We need someone who is resilient, smart, and rolls with punches. Salary is commensurate with experience. $100-$150k. .

Responsibilities include:

* Update contracts between the Company and Advertising Agencies
* Keep track of Accounts Receivable and billing to Advertising Agencies
* Review and approve Accounts Payable, and prepare payments and checks, as needed
* Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
* Process Staff payroll through a payroll service
* Liaise with outside CPA for tax return preparation
* Prepare annual City Business Tax and Permits and Business Property Taxes
* Oversee Film and Commercial production budgets
* Monthly/semi-annual/annual adjustments to the financials
* Job Actualization and Director Profit Participation schedules
* Director fringes reporting to the DGA
* Maintain insurance for the Company and Principal
* Annual Corporate Minutes update
* Liaise with 401(k) Administrator for annual reporting and profit sharing calculations
* Personal business management and accounting for Principal

Controller will report directly to Executive Producer. Controller/Production Accountant to work closely with staff Production Accountant and freelancers.
