Fast pace, fast growing electronic manufacturing company seeks an experienced financial accountant with cash management thru (A/R to A/P) skills, strong automated payroll transition (manual reporting to ADP/Paychex) experience and oversight. This person must embrace a fast paced, dynamic, proactive and rolling up their sleeve environment. This position must have the ability to accomplish multiple tasks independently, (with an assistant) and have the future potential to grow into the role of Controller.

Purpose of the Position:

This position is responsible for providing accurate financial performance measurement, Cash to Cash conversion as well as human resource, administrative and other office and plant management needs as required. Strict confidentiality and integrity is required.

Requirements:
Ability to use a complex financial accounting system
Journal Entries: Fifo cost averaging, depreciation
Forecast cash requirements
Precise bookkeeping skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a calm demeanor
A team player who also works well without constant supervision
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate impeccable integrity
Comfortable working in a small office environment.
Willing to be responsible and accountable for all activities and performance in the Accounting Office.

Scope and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate cash balances.
Focus and expertise with increasing cash flow.
Professional Accounts Receivable collections to ensure strict adherence within agreed upon terms with our valued customers.
Oversee payroll processing, administration and familiarity with conversion to ADP or Paychex automated Payroll reporting system and submitting to ADP.
Ensure Human Resource records are maintained accurately and adhere to laws of Federal and State/ California, government regulations.
Check credit references for customers who request open credit.
Perform other related duties as required.

This is an exempt position. Work hours are generally Monday through Friday 8-5:00 but will depend upon the workload of the position.
