Position Summary:
Pali Mountain is offering an opportunity for an experienced videographer to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, deadline-driven media production team.
Between now and Summer, the focus of the videographer will be working alongside Pali Institute. For every school that comes up to the mountain, the videographer will shoot to capture the most exciting moments of the kids’ week, edit that footage into a highlights reel, and overlay it with music so each kid takes home an awesome “video memory” that they will want to enjoy and show to their friends.
During the Summer season, the focus of the videographer will be to produce similar videos for Pali Adventures. The weather gets hotter and so does the pace — the faint-of-heart need not apply. In addition to the videos the kids take home, there are also live shows, music videos, and one-off projects to shoot/edit, which keeps things exciting all summer long.
Working on a team, there are always other duties as assigned. Every member of the team helps each other outside of our own areas of expertise when needed.
There are basically unlimited growth opportunities in this position. If a team member wants to learn a skill that will benefit the team, we pay for that training.

Required Competencies:

• Proficient in Final Cut Pro
• Familiar with Sony HD Cameras

Preferred Experience:

• Working in a Summer Camp-like environment.
• Living year-round at a mountain facility.
• DVD Studio Pro
• Other media production (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, A/V Setup, etc.)

• Cheerfully accepts that workload fluctuates seasonally (e.g. heavy in Summer, light in Winter)

Compensation:

• $400-$450/week DOE
• 5 vacation days and 8 paid holidays
