Stealth mode start-up, located in fashionable Venice/Santa Monica area is looking for a contract-to-fulltime, game designer who wants to be part of an emerging interactive & entertainment market. We’re creating products that combine traditional books and nontraditional interactive games. No relocation, proximity to LA is required.

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the Creative Director to design and wireframe the interactive storybooks, which embodies the creative vision of the experience.

Ideal candidates will have the following skills:

· 2+ years in a design capacity, within the interactive market.

· Strong hands-on experience.

· Excellent grasp of documenting tools (Confluence and Jira knowledge a plus).

· Demonstrates an understanding about user experiences and UI layout.

· Proven ability to document and communicate design ideas.

· Excited about the interactive/gaming space.

· Sample material is a plus!
