Job DescriptionJob Title: Global Pricing Analyst
Department: Finance and Pricing Administration
Reports to: Director, Global Strategic PlanningSUMMARY:
Plays lead role in Nitto Global pricing decisions and analytics. Supports Nitto from a pricing standpoint in delivering a profitable and comprehensive portfolio. Participates in the planning, development and implementation of strategic promotions and pricing packages. Assists in developing competitive analyses. Provides advisory services to assist in the development of price optimization. Support, educate and presents to Nitto teams and senior management in price position and optimization strategy and logic.As well as responsible for the preparation and development of a variety of key periodic management reports, performance commentary and variance analysis, assisting operations in the annual budget and forecasting process.
The pricing analyst will interface regularly with the Product Development, Sales and Marketing teams in supporting product, sales and marketing initiatives as well as the ongoing review of price positioning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ¬include the following — Other duties may be assigned.
• Manage and monitor competitive pricing
• Validate that pricing processes comply with internal policies
• Perform analysis of Nitto pricing data to verify process controls and data accuracy
• Provide analysis and technical support for pricing initiatives that include setting list prices, discount practices, support new product introduction, and identify market opportunities
• Perform ad hoc data analysis as required
• Retrieve, consolidate, analyze and summarize data from very large data sets using SQL, MS Access, or Excel
• Develop analysis in MS Access and excel to help guide setting strategic prices in the market, implement pricing improvement programs, and track financial impact
• Assist commercial organizations and product lines in determining optimized customer pricing
• Provide subject matter expertise to sales teams on pricing strategy and implementation
• Drive implementation of business, segment, and customer strategies
• Perform analysis and prepare executive-level Summary findings
• Responsible for monthly sales reporting process
• Prepare Dealer and product profit profiles by country
• Review / analyze cost center spending for Sales & Marketing teams
• Monthly sales forecasting by country/customer/sku
• Managing customer programs analysis and reconciliation
• Support the development and refinement of tools, policies, and procedures that enhance existing performance.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in one of the following areas: finance, pricing, sales, or structuring.
• Strong Microsoft Office/Excel and Access proficiency.
• Database experience required, preference for MS Access and/or SQL Server.
