As a writer for Dirt.com, you will be responsible for writing daily or weekly blog posts on your favorite topics. You will be expected to write YOUR OPINION about events as they happen in a sarcastic, snarky, and “over the top” style. We are looking for quality, not quantity. Each post should be 300-400 words, and you must hit it “out of the park”. Our readers will expect articles to be funny, poignant, and sarcastic.
You must be acerbic, slightly arrogant, cynical, ironic, and slightly ornery to write for us . . . and your headlines must be outrageous! Dirt.com writers must be interesting, shocking, provocative, strange, outrageous, sarcastic, and most of all, CURRENT.

Our team will handle all of the pictures for your posts and run all articles though Copyscape. We will attach one or more high quality “Dirtarazzi” images to each of your submissions.
Each story will be your OPINION about what interests you. We want original, biting commentary.
