California based consulting firm seeks experienced consultants in the following areas:

Grant Writer
There are several positions for this opportunity. Expertise in Social Services, Affordable Housing, Economic/ Community Development and Health is preferred. Please forward your experience highlighting funded grants, fee structure and three references. Writers outside of California are encouraged to apply. Compensation is based on monthly stipend ranging from $500-1000 and based on monthly deliverables.

CDBG Consultant
Professional consultants with experience managing affordable housing programs and projects for government agencies are sought. Consultant will have specific experience in Mortgage assistance programs; CDBG/ HOME; Single Family Rehabilitation; Mobilehome Park Rehabilitation; Agency and Multi Family Revenue Bonds; RDA set asides. This is a contract position for at least 12 months. We are seeking candidates from Southern California, Central Valley and Northern California. Experience writing Consolidated Plans and Analysis of Impediments are a plus. Hourly compensation dependent on qualifications.

Green Consultants
This is a contract position. Candidates will deliver strategic planning and technical assistance to government and nonprofit agencies to support “Green Strategies” throughout California. Candidates will have experience creating and / or implementing green strategies in the areas of (not limited to) new and rehabilitated residential, public and commercial structures housing, public facilities and commercial buildings. Candidates with experience with traffic (CO2) reduction strategies are also encouraged to apply. Experience with and knowledge of nonprofit program management, organization, project development, or implementation of neighborhood revitalization programs. Ability to operate independently under minimal supervision; successfully handles new situations and environments. Strong oral and written communication skills; strong editing and proofing skills.

Candidates must have exceptional editing and proofing. Experience editing grants and government strategic plans a plus.
