An experienced HR Consultant with SPHR-CA/PHR-CA certification to provide part-time (approximately 24 hours a week) human resources generalist support to management and employees, developing and implementing HR solutions which could include all aspects of HR – labor law, staffing and retention, organizational development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, safety and sexual harassment training experience mandatory – with the objective of increasing employee, management, and organizational effectiveness. Support both the long-term strategic goals, and ever changing short-term goals. Performed needs assessments and/or audits to make recommendations or proposals, coordinate the creation and implementation of an action or corrective plan and when required. This person must have the ability to operate with a lean organization and have the ability to roll-up their sleeves and hit the ground running with undeniable human resources knowledge. High energy and great personality a MUST!

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience.
*Experience with employee relations/progressive discipline and recommend best practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship
*Experienced with Sexual Harassment & Safety Training
*Excellent skill in Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel & PowerPoint
• Organized individual who can prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a very fast paced reporting environment.
• Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal with a strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy, and professionalism required.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and to adjust easily to changing priorities.
• Outstanding attention to detail required.
• Professional demeanor and ability to deal with employees on all levels.
• Must have strong CA & Federal Labor Laws knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business required.

Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience as an HR Generalist/Consultant
Must have SPHR-CA or PHR-CA certification.
Light Local travel
Proven professional with a natural ability to be diplomatic and confidential
