We have an immediate hire opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist/Payroll professional. This position reports directly the the Manager, Human Resources and is included in the Accounting Division of the company therefore duties may include accounting related activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Assist in all aspects of the recruitment process and new hire orientation including background and reference checks
Employee relations and customer service: Handles various HR communications, employee relations issues and advises management of appropriate resolution measures as needed.
Assist managers with performance reviews, disciplinarian actions or improvement plans as necessary.
Developing and administering employee handbook and oversee adherence to company policies.
Administration and processing of bi-monthly payroll in ADP and TimeGuardian timecard system maintenance, timecard review and implementation, supervision and maintenance of personnel records.
Oversees and conducts employee benefit enrollment process including reconcilement of billing statements.
Maintains employee files and updates personnel changes.
Process employee time off requests and oversee benefit accruals including sick/vacation days.
Assists HR Manager and others with corporate reporting requirements, accounting support, various research projects and/or special projects.
Schedules meetings, appointments or interviews as requested.
Makes photocopies, faxes documents, composes correspondence/e-mails and performs other accounting or clerical functions.
Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Preference given to candidates with Bachelors Degree in related field or those with a certified Human Resources status.
Preference given to candidates with accounting background and work experience.
The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years in Human Resources and hands-on Payroll Administration (ADP).
Knowledgeable in all federal, state and company policies, labor laws, health codes and guidelines for employers.
The highest level of personal integrity and ethical standards; experience in and with recruitment processes and procedures.
Mature business professional with strong organizational, leadership and management skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with excellent communication skills.

This is a Fulltime, M-F, 8-5 position with full benefits (vacation, sick-time, 401K, medical, dental, vision, life… ) upon completion of probationary period.
