Human Resource Coordinator

  • Matura Farrington is currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator for a mid sized Fortune 1000 corporation in the Los Angeles area. Firm is growing and offers many opportunities in the human resource area. This corporation is a conservative professional environment and has an excellent benefits and compensation plan.

    Responsibilities:

    • Human Resource Coordinator must recruit for all non-exempt positions through on-line job boards, and staffing agencies. Writing job descriptions, sourcing, screening and interviewing all prospective candidates.
    • Human Resource Coordinator will administrator the job postings, tracking and flow log for the department.
    • Coordination of applicant selection process and on-boarding
    • Administration and maintenance of all new hire information files

    • Human Resource Coordinator will administrator and monitor the EEOC, OFCCP, AAP, and other compliance reporting, practices, and regulatory efforts of the firm.

    • Assist employees with questions and problem resolution

    • HRIS duties include preparing a variety of internal reports, perform audits to ensure accuracy of database information and analyze existing reports and processes in order to make recommendations for improvements.

    Qualifications:
    *Must possess a minimum of 2 – 5 years of experience working in a human resource department doing a variety of recruiting, HRIS database administration and compliance.
    * Human Resource Coordinator must have a large corporate or professional services background.
    *Human resources information systems — HRIS – background with ability to navigate proficiency through various human resources data systems.
    *4 year college degree a must.
    Must possess superior written and verbal communication skills.
    Must be extremely detail oriented and highly organized
    Must be able to handle confidential HR matters with sensitive and good judgment

    *Represents basic qualifications for this Human Resource Coordinator position. To be considered for this position you must at least meet the basic qualifications.
