Matura Farrington is currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator for a mid sized Fortune 1000 corporation in the Los Angeles area. Firm is growing and offers many opportunities in the human resource area. This corporation is a conservative professional environment and has an excellent benefits and compensation plan.
Responsibilities:
• Human Resource Coordinator must recruit for all non-exempt positions through on-line job boards, and staffing agencies. Writing job descriptions, sourcing, screening and interviewing all prospective candidates.
• Human Resource Coordinator will administrator the job postings, tracking and flow log for the department.
• Coordination of applicant selection process and on-boarding
• Administration and maintenance of all new hire information files• Human Resource Coordinator will administrator and monitor the EEOC, OFCCP, AAP, and other compliance reporting, practices, and regulatory efforts of the firm.
• Assist employees with questions and problem resolution
• HRIS duties include preparing a variety of internal reports, perform audits to ensure accuracy of database information and analyze existing reports and processes in order to make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
*Must possess a minimum of 2 – 5 years of experience working in a human resource department doing a variety of recruiting, HRIS database administration and compliance.
* Human Resource Coordinator must have a large corporate or professional services background.
*Human resources information systems — HRIS – background with ability to navigate proficiency through various human resources data systems.
*4 year college degree a must.
Must possess superior written and verbal communication skills.
Must be extremely detail oriented and highly organized
Must be able to handle confidential HR matters with sensitive and good judgment*Represents basic qualifications for this Human Resource Coordinator position. To be considered for this position you must at least meet the basic qualifications.
