We are looking for a Human Resources Manager/Training Manager to join our team!

As the Human Resources Manager/Training Manager, you will:
• Assist the Regional Director in all areas of Human Resources.
• Serve as a resource to all managers and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with California labor laws, Union Collective Bargaining Agreement and Company policies.
• Manage recruiting efforts. Determine recruitment priorities and place job advertisements as appropriate. Interview and route applicants for all hourly positions. Oversee references, job offers, pre-employment, new hire process and orientation.
• Administer benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, COBRA, 401(k) plan and Leaves of Absence program. Conduct annual Open Enrollment for all benefits. Prepare and audit all payroll deductions and bills to ensure enrollment and accounting accuracy.
• Manage workers’ compensation process. Compile annual OSHA reports. Manage safety incentive programs to decrease frequency of work related injuries.
• Monitor wage and hour compliance, track violations and hold management team accountable for related discipline.
• Plan employee recognition events and celebrations.
• Head up Initiatives with Internal / External Trainings

Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of progressive hospitality Human Resources experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Service-oriented, team player with a great attitude
• Proficient in MS Office and experience using an HRIS system
• Union experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
