JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for general project coordination both in the U.S. and globally.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Detail oriented person required to be responsible for developing and maintaining project plans for complex software implementations, upgrades and system support, including identification and tracking of tasks, timeline, resources, prioritization, critical paths, enforcing documentation and development standards, business escalation of issues, etc. Organizes and maintains project files and folders.
2. Help to lead team of resources from technical groups and functional clients of varying responsibility levels towards a common goal utilizing standard project methodology and change management procedures.
3. Coordinate and participate in documentation of project scope, hardware and software requirements, completion of design, construction, testing, implementation, and post implementation support tasks.
4. Organizes and leads team meetings as required, and publishes minutes, action items, and issues.
5. Manage and document project issue resolution, from identification and documentation through resolution. Escalate issues as necessary to the I.T. director and/or department management as required.
6. Understands and grasps both the technical and functional (procedural) aspects of large I.T. projects. Analyzes documents and presents information as required. Constructs executive summary level communications under tight deadlines. Participates in development of executive recommendations.
7. Assist with organization and development of project budgets and tracking actual to budget costs. Includes analysis with vendors, clients and internal I.T. and functional resources, oversight of invoice processing and financial information to ensure accurate coding and posting.
8. Participate as a team member on projects led and managed by other groups.
9. Prepare monthly I.T. project and support status reports to management, and handles matters in a confidential, professional and ethical manner.
10. Provide a high degree of autonomy in the performance of duties, working effectively with little supervision at times. May include some evenings and weekends when necessary. Some travel may be required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a large I.T. environment, sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• Experience in implementing/upgrading large enterprise systems (e.g. payroll, financials) is required. PeopleSoft/Oracle system experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a complex web-based I.T. organization that includes internet, extranet, and SharePoint portal environments is a plus.Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):
• Excellent project management, planning and organizing skills, including experience using MS Project.
• Highly proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, etc.
• Proficiency in working with MS Access or other database environments highly desirable.
• Understands the responsibilities of the I.T. function, standard project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile), change management procedures, and industry best practices.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills are required.
• Strong customer and results orientation.
• Ability to effectively correspond, present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Ability to be an effective team member and handle project leadership responsibly.
