Job Title: Intermediate Level Applications / Web Programmer
Reports To: IT Manager

Summary of the Job: Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the company’s record-keeping system and user-access interfaces. Participates as a member of the development team to design, develop, deploy, and administer multi-user databases and applications. This position is responsible for system enhancement and system maintenance to meet company wide business objectives. Under the supervision of an IT manager, the position will also be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting processes and data flows that may arise in the database applications, in a timely manner. In addition, the position will create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all database design, development, and technical support and maintenance procedures.

Skills:
1. High level of proficiency with relational database and application development and administration concepts and practices.
2. High level of experience and proficiency in front- and back-end database development and administration technologies as detailed in the Experience paragraph below.
3. Demonstrated ability to document database development and maintenance procedures for third party reference.
4. Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
5. Knowledge of written communications formats, business English, and composition.
6. Knowledge of standard practices for ensuring security and confidentiality of information including Web-based security.
7. High degree of sensitivity to protecting and maintaining confidential information.

Experience:
1. Two-Five years experience in the following database development disciplines and technologies: designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining multi-user databases; Relational Database Management Systems software and software design and programming; Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Visual Basic, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML, XSLT and JavaScript.
2. Preferred education and technology experience: BS degree in computers or related field. Technologies: Classic ASP, Visual Source Safe, IIS, COM, and SOAP.

Pay Range: $50,000-$60,000 estimate
