IS Asset and Procurement Analyst (Glendale, CA)

  • Job Title: IS Asset and Procurement Analyst

    The IS Asset and Procurement Analyst is responsible for leading and managing activities related to the Asset Management process for all information systems hardware, software, and related resources. This position utilizes pre-established policies and guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide customer service to business customers related to requests for hardware, software and services.
    • Maintain records and databases containing hardware inventory, software licenses, service agreements, and maintenance agreements.
    • Submits purchase requisitions, manages invoices, and other related procurement documentation for hardware and software assets.
    • Monitors and ensures that IT asset management processes and procedures are being executed correctly across various groups.
    • Supports the internal IT billing requirements, ensuring the goods and services are assigned to the correct project for billing purposes.
    • Work with software vendors to ensure software license optimization and compliance.
    • Be primary liaison between IS and the business related to IS assets.
    • Perform additional functions incidental to procurement and asset management activities and/or other duties assigned by a manager.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree preferably in discipline of information technology, supply chain, procurement and/or asset management or equivalent 4 years of experience within procurement and asset management.
    • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must have knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and attention to details.
    • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
    • Ability to coordinate and interact between multiple departments.
