Titan is seeking an experienced, motivated, well-rounded Lead Vector Artist to design and create the visual experience of our games — everything from game assets, virtual items, app UI, badges to message dialogs. This person will work closely with the production team to produce and iterate all assets needed for a new game launch.
The ideal candidate will absolutely love (social) games and be expected to be at the forefront of new creative and social game developments that will help improve the overall results for the company as a whole.Specific Duties:
• Create and develop concept art for new game development
• Develop, animate and produce production vector art for social games, everything from background, virtual items, app UI, badges to bonus screens and other message dialogs
• Participate in product development/brainstorming sessions for new game ideas and suggest artistic styles based on the theme of the game
• Work closely with Game Development on correctly integrating art assets/animations and align expectations for art developmentMinimum Requirements:
• An impressive portfolio of digital artwork that showcases an ability to create 2D vector art in a host of different styles
• Minimum four (4) years experience in the games industry
• Minimum two (2) years experience creating 2D vector art for casual, social or mobile games
• Highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Strong affinity with (social) gaming
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.Additional desirable Experience:
• Ability to mentor/assist junior artists.
• Experience with Flash is a strong plus!The position is in Santa Monica, CA. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
