We are a start-up company looking for a Linux System Administrator.

Position is part-time and telecommute. We currently go through a company for Linux support, however, we want to set up a direct arrangement with a Linux administrator. Hours are flexible but we prefer them to be between 7am and 10pm PST, so that we have overlapping work hours.

Work that needs to be completed is generally quite basic, but we do prefer someone with a strong knowledge of Linux and general IT knowledge. For example, our current needs have been: setting the servers up, making sure domain names are on the server, getting email accounts setup and forwarded, etc. Work will become a bit more complex obviously, but relatively will remain rather simple.

We expect the workload to eventually pick-up as our start-ups grow, in which case, the position can become full-time if desired.
